Schedule a sick visit appointment easily on our website or mobile app. As you know your pet best, you can easily spot when something’s not right. Our vets can evaluate your pet’s condition and suggest further tests if needed.

Common reasons to book a sick visit include:

  • Changes in your pet’s appetite or thirst
  • Changes in your pet’s eyes’ appearance
  • Vomiting or diarrhoea
  • Lethargy (low energy)
  • Sudden weight gain or loss
  • Excessive whining, pacing, or shaking
  • Other behavioural changes or health concerns

What Occurs During a Sick Pet Visit?

An in-home sick pet visit involves a thorough nose-to-tail examination of your pet. In the comfort of their environment, you can keep your pet calm and relaxed throughout the entire process. Our WonderVet team comes prepared with all the essential tools to perform a comprehensive exam, which may include intraocular pressure tools, digital stethoscopes, and mobile ultrasound machines.

If lab tests are required for your pet, your vet will follow up with a phone call or email to discuss the results. If your pet needs medication, they’ll provide a prescription during the visit. Additionally, you can schedule a video call to follow up with your vet if you have any further questions or concerns.

Should You Schedule a Vet Sick Visit or Video Consultation?

Our video consultations are great for addressing non-urgent issues with expert telemedicine. They’re an excellent option when you’re unsure whether your pet needs an in-person visit. Our veterinary care team is available during regular business hours. Reach out to us if you’re unsure about the type of appointment to schedule. In case of a medical emergency, take your pet to the nearest Veterinary Emergency clinic immediately.

Should My Pet Be Seen By a Veterinarian?

One of the most common questions we receive from pet owners is whether their pet should be seen by a vet. This concern is quite natural. To help you make this decision, we’ve designed a quiz that can guide you towards a video consultation, sick exam, or emergency vet clinic visit, depending on your pet’s condition.
